
7 Point Mind Training with Lama Changchub
19–21 September at Karma Shedrup Ling Retreat Center
Mind training is a systematic method for turning our thoughts and attitudes from a self-centered egoism, which is natural for us, to an altruistic attitude. The training involves putting oneself in the shoes of others, doing tonglen meditation (give and take), and practicing words of wisdom.
19–21 September Lama Changchub will teach a weekend course on 7 Point Mind Training. The Seven Point Mind Training, or Lojong, is a Tibetan Buddhist practice focused on cultivating compassion and wisdom through specific mental exercises. It involves a series of slogans and meditations aimed at transforming negative emotions and habitual patterns into positive, beneficial ones. The practice is designed to be integrated into daily life, helping practitioners navigate challenges and cultivate a more compassionate and awakened mind.
